About Pradyumnaa
As Lord possesses unequalled lustre and fame, He is called 'Pradyumnaa'.
He holds the Conch and Club in His upper left and right hands, and the Lotus and Disc in His lower left and right hands.
He is the governing power of the letter 'Ma' of the Gayathri Mantra, 'Sabda Tattva' — one of the 24 Tattvas — and the Urdhvapundra marked on the chest during the dark half of the lunar month, salad made of split green grams and similar preparations, the Vaisya caste, the female body, the 'Ayanas', the morning sacrifice, substances of yellow colour, 'Dvaparayuga' and the rainy season.
He resides with 'Vayu', the god of Wind, who is the door-keeper at the southern entrance of His abode. He dwells in the gross body, the 'Pranamayakosa', the 'Bhoktas', the 'Vasus', the right side of the body, and in the cheeks. He is meditated upon while chewing 'Tambula'.
