Om Narasimhaaya Namaha

 

As Lord is with the form of man and lion, He is called 'Narasimha'. He will be holding Lotus and Club on the upper left and right hands and Conch and Disc on the lower left and right hands. He is the Governing power of the  letter 'Yo' of Gayathri Mantra, 'Gandha Tattva'  one of the 24 Tattvas and Urdhvapundra marked on the right shoulders during the dark half of the lunar month, condiments made of white gourd, gingelly seed and common pulse and north-east quarter. He dwells in the 'Svarupadeha' of all beings, Vayudeva named Vanmaya, tuft on half-left on the crown of the head, organ of smell and beverage made of Jaggery and sugar. He is to be meditated on while suffering from fever, and while one is in the midst of forest.
