Situated at the back of Birajnama temple, Trilochaneshwar Mahadev has a connection with pigeons. They will worship the both the Gods and drink the holy water. The devotees sing Bhajans and other songs. The pigeons will hear that. Once a hawk came there and thought of eating the pigeons. The female pigeon saw the hawk and warned her husband. The hawk came there and took the pigeon for flight. The female pigeon bit the grip of the hawk. So, the pigeon fell on Jambudweep and died. The pigeon was born to Gandharva Mandhara with the name of Parimal. The female pigeon was born to Nagaraja with the name of Ratnavali. Parimal used to worship Trilochaneshwar from his childhood. Ratnavali also used to do so. Once, Ratnavali along with her friends, slept in the temple itself. Lord came in her dreams and narrated the previous birth story. He also said that Parimal was the husband of all the three of you and in this birth also, he will be. All the three girls went and said to their parents about this. One day, Parimal and Nagaraja came along with their family to worship Trilochaneshwar. Then they talked about the boon Lord Shiva gave to their daughters and married them to Parimal. After this, Parimal stayed there and worshipped the Linga. Whoever worships this Linga, will endure all the happiness and reach Heaven after death. |
